Partial to a glass of bourbon? Then no doubt Buffalo Trace has warmed your lips. A staple in American liquor aisles, it’s a whiskey brand with heritage truly on its side. Though poured in rich history, communicating with the UK market required a slightly different approach.
Rather than solely leaning on its storied past, Buffalo Trace sought to position itself as a drink for modern moments — a quality tipple to enjoy after work or a new addition to your weekend communal cocktails. We also aimed to link British culture with the brand’s 'Stand Strong' tagline.
For four years, I was involved in content strategy, content production and copywriting for the brand’s social media. And while I’ll never be convinced on the taste of whiskey, I’ll still raise a glass to working with such a beautiful beast.
