Job: April Fools campaign

Fireball UK wanted to pull off an unforgettable April Fools’ prank on their loyal fanbase. The idea? A brand-new pink version of their signature red-hot cinnamon liquor, launched as ‘Fireball - Pointlessly Pink’.

I crafted the website landing page, complete with product details and release dates, alongside social media announcements to help drive excitement. Despite a minimal ad budget, the Pointlessly Pink campaign caught fire, generating 150k+ shares online, thousands of landing page visits, and even boosting orders for the original Fireball Whiskey on Amazon. 

The campaign caused such a ruckus that American fans started to enter retail stores in search for the new ‘Pointlessly Pink’ Fireball bottle. Unfortunately for them, it didn’t exist. But the campaign’s success was very real and it was even shortlisted for Low Budget - Social Media Campaign of the Year by SocialDay.
